Western Alliance Emergency Services in conjunction with networking partner Troy Community Hospital is a Community Training Center for the American Heart Association.

Let our Community Training Center Coordinator, John Mosser, meet your educational needs. He can assist you in receiving any of the following layperson classes:

CPR for Family & Friends - This entry level modular course offers instruction in one rescuer adult and/or child and infant CPR. This program is designed for the general public, boys/girls clubs, parents, grandparents, babysitters, mass CPR training participants.

CPR in Schools - American Heart Associations newest program uses a modular approach to teach high school students in Adult, child and infant CPR. This program is designed for High School students.

Heartsaver CPR - A modular program designed to teach CPR and relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction for adults, children and infants. Includes instruction on barrier devices, instruction on the causes and prevention of injuries, and cardio-pulmonary arrest in children. This program is designed for lay rescuers whose jobs require a credential documenting successful completion of a written evaluation and successful skills performance (i.e.: security guards, childcare professionals, preschool workers).

Heartsaver AED - A comprehensive program that teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This program is designed for lay responders including, firefighters, police, commercial airliner crews, security personnel, employees in the workplace, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.

HS-FACTS - A collaboration between the AHA and the National Safety Council that combines Adult CPR and the uses of an AED with basic first aid procedures. This program is designed for lay responders including, firefighters, police, commercial airline crews, security personnel, employees in the workplace, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.
